Online Master of Science in Recreation, Sport and Tourism
Online Program Admissions Guidelines and Requirements
Transcripts
- You will need to submit original transcripts directly from your institution. If you’re an international student, provide transcripts in both English and their original language.
- For your initial application in ApplyYourself, an unofficial transcript is fine (include grade interpretation guidelines if your institution provides them). Keep in mind, official transcripts are only required if you accept an offer of admission.
- Whether official or unofficial, transcripts in languages other than English must always include an English translation from your institution.
GPA
- 3.0 out of 4.0.
- Your GPA is based on your last two years (about 60 hours) of undergraduate coursework.
Resume and Recommendations
- Two letters of recommendation are required.
- One must be from a previous course instructor if the undergraduate degree was completed within the last 12 months.
TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo
- For international students’ language ability, a TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo test score is required.
- Some applicants may be exempt from this requirement. See if you meet exemption status.
Minimum scores are as follows:
| English Proficiency Test | Minimum for Full Status Admission |
|---|---|
| TOEFL iBT | 103 |
| IELTS (academic exam) | 7.5 |
| Duolingo | 135 |
